eBS R12 supported until 2034
Oracle confirmed Premier Support for eBS R12.2 until 2034, with indefinite Sustaining Support. There's no pressure for "urgent migration to Cloud". Decisions can be made strategically, on 2-5 years, not reactively.
Oracle Cloud Fusion is the future product
For companies that want cloud-native, automatic quarterly updates and a new extensions model (low-code through VBCS), Oracle Cloud Fusion (ERP Cloud, HCM Cloud, SCM Cloud) is the destination. Migration is a 12-24 month project, not "lift & shift". VOGO does realistic assessment before commitment.
OIC for clean integrations
Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) is the recommended mode for any new integration — both between Oracle apps (eBS ↔ Fusion ↔ NetSuite) and with third-party systems (Salesforce, SAP, Workday). We replace legacy integrations based on FTP / Concurrent Programs with monitored OIC flows.
APEX and quick extensions

Which Oracle eBS versions do you support?

For R11i we only do migration to R12.2 or Cloud — we no longer support new development on R11i.
Do you recommend migration from eBS to Oracle Cloud Fusion?
Depends on your profile:
- Oracle Cloud Fusion — new product, cloud-native, automatic quarterly updates, new licensing model.
- eBS R12 — still supported (Premier Support until 2034).
Migration is a strategic 2-5 year decision. We do assessment with real pricing, migration plan, identification of functional gap and required custom code rewrite.
Frequent recommendation for companies without urgent pressure: "lift & shift" on OCI as intermediate step — operational benefits without custom rewrite.
What is OIC and why does it matter?
Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) = Oracle's platform for integrations.
Covers both integrations between Oracle apps (eBS ↔ Cloud Fusion ↔ NetSuite) and with third-party systems (Salesforce, SAP, Workday, REST APIs, B2B EDI).
OIC is the recommended mode for new integrations — clean integration layer, avoiding customizations directly in eBS that make upgrades difficult.
Do you use Oracle APEX for extensions?
Yes. Oracle APEX is ideal for fast departmental apps:
- Custom forms (request management, expense entry).
- Dashboards (departmental KPIs).
- Lookup tools (search over eBS schema).
Deploy on-premises (existing Oracle DB) or on Oracle Cloud (APEX Service / Autonomous DB).
For more complex apps we use Oracle JET (Oracle JavaScript framework) or ADF.
What do we do with OAF / ADF / Forms customizations?
Existing customizations:
- On eBS — we maintain and extend without problems.
- On migration to Oracle Cloud Fusion — need rewrite. Fusion uses Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) or Application Composer for extensions.
Estimating rewrite effort is part of the migration assessment.
Do you support Oracle eBS on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)?
Yes. "Lift & shift" migration of eBS from on-premises to OCI — without functional changes.
