The VOGO mobile app

A native mobile app for secure access, approval, signing and working from anywhere.

A native mobile app for secure access, approval, signing and working from anywhere.

An approval that waits blocks the process

In a document flow, the step that takes longest is usually not the most complicated one. It is the one waiting for a person who is not at the office. An opinion, a signature, a confirmation — thirty-second things that sit for two days.

The mobile app targets exactly this point. It does not duplicate the whole desktop application on a small screen, but brings to the phone the things that have no reason to wait: what needs approving, what needs signing, what needs seeing now.

Why native, and not just an adapted website

A native app can use things a web page cannot use in the same way: notifications that arrive when the app is closed, offline work, signing on the touch screen, integration with the operating system’s security mechanisms.

Offline work matters in the field: the data entered is kept locally and synchronised automatically on reconnection, without the user having to remember what they filled in and where they stopped.

Communication with the server is encrypted, and the rights are the same as in the desktop application — mobile is not a side door with looser rules.

  • native apps for iOS and Android;
  • notifications when a request changes or progresses;
  • offline work, with automatic synchronisation on reconnection;
  • signing on the touch screen and signed documents sent by e-mail.

What the organisation gains

Waiting time drops where it was caused by someone’s physical absence. And for field work — inspection, control, findings — the data is entered where it is produced, not in the evening at the office, from notes.

The app can carry the institution’s visual identity, which matters when it is used by citizens too, not only by staff.

Questions and answers

Which systems does it run on?

iOS and Android, as native apps. The minimum supported versions are communicated at implementation.

Does it work without an internet connection?

Yes, for entering data and consulting downloaded information. Synchronisation happens automatically on reconnection.

Does a signature on the phone have legal value?

It depends on the type of signature used and on the legal requirements applicable to the document. A handwritten signature on the screen and an electronic signature are different things; the choice is made per document type.

Can the app carry the institution’s identity?

Yes, visual customisation is part of the delivery.
