VOGO® eBS
eBS roadmap
Where the product stands and where it is heading: the maintained releases and their support dates, the history from the EUIPO trade mark registration to today, the public roadmap and the open backlog.
Releases & support
VOGO eBS follows a standard support policy for major releases. We recommend updating to the latest minor release on the active branches. The maintained and notable major releases are:
Releases reach End of Life under the support policy, after which access to the official releases remains assured. The exact dates are in the release history & roadmap.
How the product has evolved from the EUIPO trade mark registration to today — new capabilities and better performance in every release.
The first production release, launched together with the registration of the VOGO.me trade mark at EUIPO (EUTM 019103505).
Capabilities
- Electronic registry with atomic numbering and legal traceability
- Document management — versions, renditions, dynamic metadata
- Workflow and case management (files, assignments, deadlines)
- Identity & access (RBAC / ACL), tenant isolation
Performance & platform
- Append-only audit with a hash chain
- Data access through parameterised PDO, SQL-first model
- Transactional outbox for safe event publishing
- Multi-tenant architecture by design
The second major iteration — electronic archiving, signing and dispatch, and multi-database portability.
Capabilities
- Electronic archive (AIP / WORM) + archival nomenclature + retention
- Electronic signature and dispatch with proof of delivery
- Official document generation from templates (PDF / PDF-A)
- Versioned org chart, reconstructible for any past date
Performance & platform
- MariaDB ↔ PostgreSQL portability (schema dialects)
- Indexing and optimisation for the registry and documents
- Lower latency on review / approval flows
- Docker containerisation, reproducible deployment
The third major iteration — AI over documents, secure search and full compliance (GDPR / INFOSEC).
Capabilities
- Secure, permission-filtered search + OCR / AI over content
- Agentic AI (RAG, LangChain / LangGraph, MCP) over documents
- PII / GDPR / DPO and classified information / INFOSEC
- Integration — event bus, HMAC webhooks, connectors; low-code reporting
Performance & platform
- Secure lexical index for fast search at scale
- Independent integrity verification over Merkle batches
- OWASP ASVS hardening (pen-test target: no Critical/High)
- Cluster-ready on Kubernetes
The latest minor release — performance and security hardening, fixes across every module and improved Kubernetes deployment.
Capabilities
- Minor fixes and refinements across every module
- Improved Kubernetes deployment (Helm, autoscaling)
- UX refinements in the registry, documents and search
- Connector and integration updates
Performance & platform
- Security hardening (patches, dependencies)
- Performance and latency optimisation
- Extended observability (metrics, structured logging)
- Greater stability under load / at scale
Public roadmap
The strategic direction for the medium and long term — a strong focus on AI, emerging technologies and adaptability to modern data centres.
- Agentic ECM — autonomous document classification, routing and triage, with a human in the loop
- Sovereign on-prem LLMs — fully private models in the data centre, zero data egress
- Semantic archive — multilingual OCR + permission-filtered semantic search
- Confidential computing — encrypted-in-use processing (TEE / enclaves) for classified documents
- Autonomous cross-department flows — AI agents that negotiate and complete processes
- Predictive records management — anticipating retention and compliance risk
- Post-quantum cryptography for the audit hash chain, signatures and archive
- Adaptive placement across heterogeneous data centres (GPU / ARM / neuromorphic), workload-aware
- Knowledge-graph core — reasoning over documents as a knowledge graph
- Cyber-swarm-ready — integration with decentralised, self-defending security fabrics
- Continuous autonomous compliance — self-auditing that adapts to changing regulation
- Zero-trust, self-healing infrastructure on any data-centre substrate
Managed collaboratively, on GitHub
How capabilities evolve, how work is prioritised, how requirements stay traceable and how the community contributes — across several releases.
User stories & issues
Requirements are tracked as user stories and issues, broken down by module and release.
Prioritisation
Prioritised with labels & milestones (Now / Next / Later), aligned with the public roadmap.
Traceability
Full traceability from requirement to commit to release, through references and version tags.
Community contributions
Open pull requests and discussions, across several releases.
Trade mark registered at EUIPO
The product's trade mark is public in the EUIPO register — the official time reference for release 1.0.
