The detection engine
Identification of personal entities, the deterministic rules and the local language model.
VOGO eBS GDPR and Privacy
The component discovers the personal data in the organisation’s documents and flows, classifies it and protects it on derived copies, with the original kept untouched.
Runs entirely at the organisation, on CPU, without sending documents to external services.
The extracted text and the coordinates of scanned documents go through an identification engine, completed with rules for national identifiers and a local language model for Romanian. Names, addresses, contact, financial or health data are found exactly on their area of the image.
Protection is applied on a derived copy — masking, pseudonymisation, anonymisation or irreversible redaction —, and the original stays protected, with restricted and logged access. Uncertain results are not applied automatically: an authorised user validates them.
The same place holds the register of processing, the impact assessments, data subject requests, consents and incidents, with the data protection officer’s role kept separate from the administrator’s.
Discovery. Protection. Records. Proof.
In text and in scanned images, with the marking exactly on the area of the document.
Data categories, purposes, confidence score and the user’s validation.
The value hidden or replaced reversibly, controlled through rights.
The link with the person removed, the area covered permanently in the derived copy.
Purposes, legal bases, categories, recipients, transfers and retention periods.
Access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection — with deadlines and proof of the answer.
DPIAs linked to the processing activities they concern.
Incidents affecting personal data and the related notifications.
Justified, temporary and audited access, without default access to the content of documents.
The conflict is solved through anonymisation and a documented legal decision, not through silent deletion.
Sensitive data is redacted before any artificial intelligence processing.
Protection on the documents in ECM, human validation as a task in the flows.
Support, updates and training are provided by VOGO, as the product’s manufacturer.

It is the VOGO eBS component that identifies, classifies and protects the personal data in the organisation’s documents and flows and keeps the records required by the GDPR.
No. All actions are applied on a derived copy. The original stays protected, unchanged and accessible only to the designated persons, and every viewing is logged.
No. The component runs entirely in the organisation’s infrastructure, on CPU, without external services.
It is not carried out silently: the personal data is anonymised in the viewable version, the original stays in the archive with restricted access, and the operation is recorded in the register of processing.
